FUEL Creative Group is a full-service design agency located on P Street in Midtown Sacramento that specializes in graphic design for print, Web, signage, packaging and advertising. In particular, FUEL is well-versed in what it takes to create and follow brand standards, as well as how to create dynamic design within brand parameters.

After Steve graduated in 1996 from CSU, Chico with a BA in Communications Design, he went to work for Wallrich-Landi Integrated Marketing Communications. As Senior Designer, he won multiple local design awards and was instrumental in building the firm’s Web development department. With far-reaching skills that include identity design, Web sites, signage, publications, annual reports, brochures, packaging, trade show booths, multimedia and 3D animation, Steve is invaluable to his clients.

Before opening FUEL Creative Group in February of 2004, Brent held the position of Senior Art Director at Wallrich-Landi Integrated Marketing Communications in Sacramento, California. Brent won numerous major awards for his design work and was able to develop a hands-on management style that allowed younger designers to excel under his guidance. Brent’s role as partner at FUEL Creative Group has allowed his unique design aesthetic and playful range of graphic styles to become ever more innovative. His talents have made FUEL a force in the local and international design markets, forming strong relationships with clients such as Digital Deployment, the City of Roseville, and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Nicolette Countryman

Nicolette brings over seven years of client service experience to FUEL with her background in organization, project management and process implementation. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and American Multi Cultural Studies from Sonoma State University. At FUEL, Nicolette maintains client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring all of our clients needs are met. She’s managed a variety of large projects at FUEL for CAL FIRE, Sacramento Convention and Visitors’ Bureau, California Association of Highway Patrolmen and County Welfare Directors Association of California. When she’s not busy, she enjoys drinking coffee with friends, reading and traveling.

Drawing from a bevy of civil service roles, Nick works tirelessly to ensure the success of client projects at here at FUEL. With a background in content creation, strategic campaign operations and public policy research, Nick’s affinity for exciting copy and relationship building lend well to preserving the vision of FUEL’s government, corporate, and non-profit clients alike. A proud Sac State alum, Nick studied public relations and government where he served as the research assistant for an argumentation textbook while competing as a member of the school’s award-winning policy debate team. #StingersUp!

Brittany Baledio

Brittany spent her undergrad year interning at a classroom studio at Sacramento State working as a designer for clients such as The California Highway Patrol, Broadway Augmented and “The Land and the People” Korean art exhibition for Sacramento State. She graduated from CSU Sacramento earning her Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design and interned for a marketing agency before joining FUEL in 2014. Her meticulous attention to detail and calm ability to work under pressure ensures quality control
is met on all projects in the studio making her a valuable asset to the team. Brittany’s hobbies include creative writing, spending time with friends and family and performing small acts of kindness for others.

Kelina Orozco

An avid lover of field hockey and all things design, Kelina is FUEL’s most recent hire, joining the team in 2016. She received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design at the University of the Pacific in Spring of 2015. Previously, Kelina lived and worked in Southern California at CP+B (Crispin Porter and Bogusky), a global creative advertising agency. From there, she got to work on projects for PayPal and Charles Schwab as well as assist New Business in client acquisition. When she’s not designing you can find her reading, watching a “healthy” amount of television, running, hiking, or playing an exorbitant amount of field hockey.

Megan is currently attending Sacramento State in pursuit of a Bachelors of Science in Graphic Design, and is expected to graduate in Spring 2017. She’s an active member of the AIGA design club on campus, leading incoming design students and prepping materials for program outreach. She loves finding ways to expand her education beyond the walls of the classroom.
